Grimsby manager Alan Buckley wants his side to continue pushing away until they are mathematically safe, despite being 12 points clear of the relegation spots, as they travel to Edgar Street on Saturday.
Buckley told the local press: "People talk about point targets. There is no target, we want to amass as many points as we can. Last November when I arrived it was just important that we were seeing league football here again next year.
"There will be no taking our foot off the pedal until that is mathematically the case. When it is, we will still keep on. You can never be satisfied with what you are achieving in football. You always have to look to better what you are doing. Five wins out of six after the indifferent run we had is a good spell though."
