Turner meeting with planners next month

Graham Turner is to meet with the planners next month about proposals to improve Edgar Street, the home of Hereford United.

"We have worked hard with considerable legal fees involved to finalise a joint venture agreement and loan agreement with the Richardsons (the developers)," Turner says in this mornings Hereford Times.

"Having joined forces with them that will in all probability take care of the loan and provide the club with a long term income stream."

Turner rules out any improvements to the Len Weston Stand for a long time and admits both the Blakfriars End and the Meadow End are the priority.

He hopes to be ready to start work as soon as planning permission is given and he is meet the planners next month.

"We are now in the hands of the Council," says Turner who appears to be getting a little impatience with the whole question of redevelopment.
