Torquay boss Lubos Kubik has admitted that something is not right at Torquay, but his players are refusing to say what the problem is. Kubik told the local BBC: "In the last couple of weeks I have had some talks with the players, but they have not given me any idea of whether we at the club are doing anything wrong but there is something here that is not right."
The Gulls are set to lose a trio of players, with strikers Jamie Ward and Lee Thorpe and midfielder Adam Murray all set to depart. Ward is the subject of a £100,000 chase by Walsall and Swindon, Thorpe is being chased by both Grimsby and Wycombe, and Macclesfield have agreed a £10,000 move for Murray.
Shrewsbury have signed 19 year old Tranmere midfielder Mike Jones for a months loan after allowing fellow midfielder Steve Hogg to join Gretna after two years at Gay Meadow. Wycombe have made permanent the loan signing of Swindon striker Fola Onibuje and also brought in MK Dons defender Leon Crooks for a nominal fee.
