Ronnie Moore, the Tranmere manager, has been talking to the Liverpool Echo about the move on loan of Steve Jennings to Hereford United.
He said that the loan had been arranged to give Jennings some first team action and to help pay his wages both of which would benefit Tranmere.
"Jennings has gone out to relieve a little bit of that financial burden. But more than anything he has gone out to play some games," said Moore.
"He has not figured very much this season and injury kept him out of action until recently. We'll watch and see how he progresses with Hereford."
