Boston could have new owners after lengthy discussions with a Leeds-based business.
One time Leeds chairman Gerald Krasner has been linked to the bid as the head of the business but the identity of the firm, or any of the principal players, has been kept quiet. Krasner has acknowledged being consulted over the club's £2.6million debt, with £1.5million being owed to the current owners Lavaflow.
Krasner was linked to the club in November when the club were struggling to stave off liquidation. The Leeds based accountant is an insolvency expert and has advised the club on the way forward. He became Leeds chairman in 2004, cutting debts by £60million.
Meanwhile, Mansfield have named James Derry as their new chairman. Local businessman Derry is owner of a £45million construction firm.
