46 out of 92 managers changed since May

46 managers out of 92 have left their clubs since last May according to the League Paper this morning.

And there are still another four months to go to the end of this season.

The problem appears to be worse in the League than the Premiership says John Barnwell leader of the League Managers Association.

"Sackings in the League are running at more than 50%," he said.

In League Two, Graham Turner and John Coleman, of newly promoted Hereford United and Accrington Stanley are two of the longest serving men in charge.

Turner has been manager at Edgar Street longer than any other manager at the club and only trails behind Sir Alex Ferguson and Dario Gradi in the length of time at any League club.

Some record, but then Turner is also chairman of the club with the largest single shareholding in the club. So he would have to sack himself.

Meanwhile the Non-League Paper says that former Hereford United favourite, Jimmy Harvey, now in charge at Forest Green Rovers, has moved to Hereford.
