Purdie's penalty not enough for Bulls

Another Rob Purdie penalty wasn't enough for Hereford this afternoon at Blundell Park.

Grimsby scored first, then Purdie equalised, but the Mariners went ahead in the second period.

Hereford stay in 15th position but the goal difference of minus three is now the worst it has been at any time in the last five seasons.

Of the Bulls 15 goals in the League to date, 6 have come from penalties all converted by Rob Purdie.

Around 150 Hereford supporters made the trip to Grimsby. Their signing could be heard for much of the game.

Full report later.
