One Acquitted In Boston Case

Boston General Manager John Blackwell has been acquitted of fraud charges after the judge directed the jury to find him not guilty.

A spokesman told reporters: "The jury returned a verdict of not guilty which was directed by the judge. He said they had to return that verdict because he decided it wasn't possible for them to properly come to a decision as to whether or not he was knowingly involved in the conspiracy."

Two more people, book-keeper Ian Lee and Accountant Brian James, are still awaiting decisions afer both Steve Evans and Pat Malkinshaw admitted charges three weeks ago.
