Darlington - Red card specialists

Visitors to Edgar Street next Saturday Darlington have amassed 10 Red Cards in their last 27 games.

This season to date they have had five red cards, the last was on Friday when Craig James was sent off for the second time this campaign. He will miss Saturday's game.

Darlington have conceded 13 goals in their last five games and are currently without a manager.

Darlington lost their last game 5-0 at home to Rochdale. In charge at present is Neil Maddison.

"I think the new manager, when he comes in, will assess the situation and assess the players and, my opinion is that we need two centre-halfs," said Maddison.

"On Friday's performance, they'll be looking at Conference football the way we defended.

"The one thing I am is a Darlington fan through and through and I do believe that whoever comes in as manager needs a few players. I think it's a must and Friday night proved it."
