St Albans And Stafford Make Conference

St Albans and Stafford Rangers sealed play-off final wins to gain promotion to the Conference.

St Albans beat Histon 2-0 today to make the Conference for the first time. Stafford beat Droylsden on penalties yesterday with veteran ex-Bull Neil Grayson scoring in normal time and from the spot in the shoot-out to return the club to the Conference for the first time since 1995.
