Shrimps may sit deep says Turner

Graham Turner has spoken to the Hereford Times about this evening's play-off game against Morecambe.

"Perhaps there is some irony in the fact that our three away legs have all finished 1-1, but I don't think that we have had a better chance of progressing to the final that we have this time.

"Morecambe's away record is not the best but I can imagine them coming here and setting up defensively, sitting deep, not allowing us any space in the final third and hoping they can catcg us on the break or at a set-piece.

The Hereford United manager has asked the fans to get behind the teram from the start.

"Morecambe will be bringing maybe 500 or 600 supporters with them but we should have ten times that amount there.

"We need to make the atmosphere as hostile as possible for the Morecambe players.

"The fans were fairly quiet at the start at Morecambe but that was understandable due to the way we began on the pitch but they really warmed up later on.

"We will hope that they can take it on from there."

The forecast is for a warm evening with just the outside risk of a thundary storm. The weather may help the Bulls as they are probably the fitter team and could cope with the conditions better tham the Shrimps.
