Guy Ipoua, the Hereford United striker, was recently interviewed (before the playoffs) by a website called Bored At Break which is run by some young Hereford United fans.
Below is a flavour of what he said.
First he was asked how he came to Edgar Street;
"Graham Turner called me about four years ago and asked me to come to Edgar Street. But I was playing at Championship level then and I certainly didn't want to drop down to the Conference just then. Graham then called me again a couple of times but again I said no. But last summer I got the call again, and I wanted to be near to my girlfriend, who lives in Cardiff. So I went to see Turner and had four good talks with him, and then I signed a contract with the club."
What about his future:
"I'm happy at the club and have a great relationship with the players, management and the fans. I will discuss a new contract with the club in the summer, and I would like to believe that I could stay on at the club."
What about promotion:
"So many players in the squad have had the heartache of not going up. But this year we will take it easy and not get over excited, and be more careful. I think we will go up in the play-offs."
His views about Hereford and the players:
Guy is most impressed with Mkandwire, but also mentions Andy Williams, Rob Purdie, Craig Stanley, Danny Carey-Bertram
"But Tammy is still young, 23 in May. If anything happens (about Tammy leaving) it will happen this summer. We need to go up to keep hold of Tam."
"Andy has done so well, but he needs to keep going, to be consistent, and to keep scoring goals."
"Rob always tries hard. He sees tricks on TV and tries to pull them of in training, they don't always work but he tries! "
"Craig has improved a lot since I came in the summer, he only has two or three things missing from his game."
"Danny had a real good spell that earned him an England cap, where he scored but since then he hasn't played or trained well. Graham wanted to protect him, to wake him up. It's up to Danny to turn it around, he's certainly got the talent."
That sending off at Exeter:
"I don't mind getting sent off - If I do something! The referee was probably trying to play to the cameras as he was on SKY, but the standard of referees and linesmen is poor. They are too irregular."
Advice from Guy to young players:
"Play with a smile and enjoy your football. If you are good enough it will come through and you will make it. Once you make it as a pro, it's easy."
