Directions to the Walkers Stadium

There are special directions to the Walkers Stadium operating at present because of road repairs in the area. Most of the following information comes from the Official Leicester City Website

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IF TRAVELLING FROM THE MOTORWAYS, ONE OF THE MAJOR ROUTES TO OUR VENUE , VIA UPPERTON ROAD IS CLOSED FROM 2ND MAY FOR 5 WEEKS. WE STRONGLY ADVISE OUR EVENT ORGANISERS TO INFORM ALL GUESTS. PLEASE SEE NEW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

From the M1/M69: Get off at Junction 21 (not 21a), then at roundabout take 1st Exit onto the A5460 (signposted Leicester). Branch left, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A563 (signposted Outer Ring) then immediately continue forward (signposted Outer Ring, Leicester South and East).

At traffic signals continue forward. Continue forward onto Soar Valley Way - A563. Entering Leicester: At traffic signals turn left onto the A426 (signposted City Centre). At traffic signals turn left onto Raw Dykes Road (signposted Walkers Stadium). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Freemans Wharf. Stadium is on your left.

The Walkers Stadium is about 200metres 'over the road' and visible from the old ground - Filbert Street.

There are four car parks close by.

Directions from Hereford:

Worcester/M5 North/M42/M6 East/M69/ off at Junction 21 and follow directions as above.
