Aldershot Continue Clearout With Five More Gone

Terry Brown has continued his Aldershot rebuilding, telling five more they have no future at the Recreation Ground.

While the departures of Lewis Hamilton, Hassan Sulaiman, Tobi Jinadu and reserve goalkeeper Dan Weait were unsurprising, with three of them already on the transfer list, Brown has also released captain Steve Watson. Watson, their player of the season in 2004/5, was one of several players to struggle with injury this season.

Meanwhile Accrington have released midfielder Steve Jagielka and reserve keeper Danny Alcock, but have offered deals to all the other squad members.
