Wayne Brown, the Hereford United goalkeeper, who spoke to the Non-League paper after yesterday's game, admitted that the Bulls had been under pressure in the second half.
"We've done alright. It was a bit like the Alamo at theend, but we've defended well and that's been the key for our team.
"It was a good result."
John Trewick also spoke to both the NLP and BBC Hereford and Worcester..
"It wasn't a good performance, a bit rearguard defensively in the second half, but we got the goal that was necessary.
"We don't look at things in isolation - one game or two games. We look at a general trend and I think our general trend has been good."
Nigel Clough, the Burton manager, praised his goalkeeper Saul Deeney whose error allowed Andy Williams to score.
He said it was only the second time the 'keeper has cost his side a goal in 29 games.
