With the FA Trophy out of the way for this season, Hereford United can concentrate on the League for the rest of this campaign.
Other than the minor destraction of the Herefordshire Cup, the Bulls are out of all competitions and so, unless the weather intervenes, they should not get into a fixture backlog situation.
At present the Bulls have up to two games in hand over the other top Conference sides and although they dropped to fifth place yesterday are still well in contention for a play-off place. However with Accrington way out ahead of the pack, talk of topping the League is probably unrealistic.
Top of the Conference:
1 Accrington Stanley 26 58
2 Morecambe 28 48
3 Halifax 28 48
4 Exeter 27 47
5 Hereford 26 47
6 Stevenage 28 46
7 Grays Athletic 26 45
There are a couple of Conference games this Tuesday but neither will affect the top of the table. So Hereford supporters without season tickets are expected to be asked to pay an extra pound to see next Saturday's home game against Halifax as the Bulls are in the top five.
