Ipoua doubt for Saturday

Graham Turner has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that Guy Ipoua is a doubt for the Trophy game at Halifax on Saturday.

"Of the players that have been injured, Guy Ipoua is probably the biggest doubt," said Turner.

"Of the longer term injuries there should be nobody unfit, Caldicott and James might need a little bit of action to prepare them for the first team."

Meanwhile Turner has revealed that Andy Ferrell does not require surgery on his knee.

"It was feared that it might be a cartlidge. He's had cartlidge problems on one knee so he knew the symptoms and thought it felt exactly the same as when he had the cartlidge problem.

"A scan revealed that it is ligament damage. He's over that damage now. He's been training through this week and should be ready for consideration for Saturday if needed."
