Kidderminster will wait longer than first expected to name their new manager after telling caretaker boss Martin O'Connor that he will be in charge over the festive period.
Harriers were originally seeking a swift appointment but, having advertised the position at the weekend, have chosen to wait to make a decision.
Worcester boss Andy Preece, an early favourite for the post, has ruled himself out of the running by signing a new contract at St Georges Lane until the end of the 2006/7 season.
