Bad Night For Conference In Cups

It was a bad night for Conference clubs in the LDV Trophy and FA Cup.

Both Stevenage, 2-0 losers at Northampton, and Woking, who fell 2-1 at Northwich, missed out on Third Round ties, while Cambridge joined Halifax as LDV losers after a 4-2 loss at Macclesfield.

Only Burton and Tamworth remain in the FA Cup, alongside fellow non-leaguers Northwich and the winners of tonight's Histon/Nuneaton replay, while the LDV Trophy has no Conference sides in the Southern half but three, Hereford, Kidderminster, and Cambridge, in the Northern half.
