Tinnion Trials With Aldershot

Former Bristol City Player-Manager Brian Tinnion played for Aldershot's reserve side in their 2-0 defeat to Woking last night.

The 37 year old midfield general was given his playing release from Bristol City last week, and had a brief trial at Cheltenham. He was in charge at Ashton Gate for 15 months, and spent 12 years there as a player after signing from Bradford.

UPDATE - The BBC report Tinnion has signed non-contract forms with Aldershot, and may be included in Saturday's match with Gravesend.
