Conference News Round-Up

Accrington have given free transfers to defenders Mike Flynn and Chris Butler. Centre back Flynn, 36, and left back Butler, 21, will remain at the Interlink Express Stadium until they can find new clubs but neither are in manager John Coleman's plans. Former Bull Danny Davidson has become the latest person to quit Crawley Town. Davidson scored six goals in 39 games for the club but was transfer listed earlier this season as he struggled with the switch to full time football. Morecambe have signed former Accrington midfielder Ged Brannan. Brannan, 33, formerly played with manager Jimmy Harvey at Tranmere and has been playing for Radcliffe Borough after leaving Accrington six weeks ago. Altrincham have moved their midweek game with Accrington to FA Cup Round 2 day now their original opponents, Grays, are still in the cup, and have allowed Rod Thornley, Ged Murphy, and Stephen Rose to play for Radcliffe Borough to gain match fitness. Scarboro have given a trial to sacked Halifax keeper Ian Dunbavin. Kidderminster have lost Simon Russell for three months after the midfielder broke a wrist on Saturday. Pussell will undergo an operation today to repair the damage. Also under the knife at Aggbrough is Martin O'Connor, who requires another operation to "clean up" his knee.
