Graham Westley, the Stevenage manager, spoke to BBC Three Counties about the game today and thought his side had edged the first half.
"Ten minutes of madness after half-time was the difference in the game. I thought we edged the first-half, had the better of it.
"We didn't adjust very well to the conditions after the break. It was windy out there and we sank and we allowed them to bring pressure for ten or fifteen minutes and didn't adjust quickly enough.
"In that period they got the goal that eventually won the game. They will go away delighted with their three points."
Although named on the bench Simon Travis, who used to play at Stevenage, looked not quite fit as he warmed up for the game away from his team colleagues.
He has yet to play against his previous team as he also missed the game at Edgar Street earlier in the season.
