Squad too small to cope

There is little doubt that the Hereford United squad is too small at present given the amount of players suffering with injuries.

Adam Stansfield was taken to hospital with suspected concussion this afternoon after a clash of heads in the penalty area.

Danny Williams who, after being stretched off last Tuesday, started the game was subbed. He appeared to be in some trouble.

Lee Mills came on for Williams but looked slow and generally unable to cope.

Ryan Green was also subbed today. It looked as though he had a hamstring niggle.

Danny Carey-Bertram, who pulled up late in the game last Tuesday with what looked like cramp, is said to have hamstring trouble and didn't make the bench today.

Andy Tretton remains sidelined with reported back trouble.

Tamika Mkandawire made the bench after several games outbut was not called on to take any part in the match.

And with Joe Anyinsah unable to play on Tuesday in the Wrexham LDV game, Graham Turner will have a difficult task to find enough players to take part in the match especially if none of the above eight are reasonably fit .
