Trewick welcomes new trio
Hereford United's assistant manager John Trewick has told the Hereford Journal that he believes that the quality of the new signings will be invaluable as his side is preparing another push to promotion.
"Both Mills and Gould have a wealth of experience and have the knowhow, having experienced playing the game at a high level. We needed something different in a forward position and Lee Mills has a real presence and could be the man to fill the role.
"We also needed a new keeper for the start of the season. Ben Scott has done well but you can't possibly survive with just one goalkeeper in the first-team squad. We have also been very impressed by Robinson's enthusiasm and we needed a left-sided player to give us an extra option."
Trewick aso said that the club was considering signing one more player.
"It's a good thing players are challenging for places as it increases competition in the squad and keeps everyone on their toes. I think that our new signings have taken over the roles of the players we have lost. We have brought in extra quality and players with something to prove," he said.
