Not a good week
This week has not been a good one for the Bulls.
First the disappointing defeat at home to Scarborough, then the robbery at the club shop, and finally injury problems have brought pressure both on the club and the players. So the visit of Dagenham will not be easy. However the Daggers are not enjoying the sort of season they had last year. Last Saturday they lost at home to Southport and had two of their top players, Mark Stein and Steve Potts, sent off. Both will start suspensions shortly but will be available tomorrow.
Paul Parry is likely to start in attack with Steve Guinan for the Bulls as John Grant is still out. Speaking to Trevor Owens of BBC Hereford & Worcester, United manager Graham Turner said that he thought Parry had enjoyed playing up-front."He has got that ability and pace to disturb defenders."
Turner still wants to strengthen his attack. "Scott Voice played in a reserve match against Cheltenham on Monday. He looks as though he is making reasonable progress. He could do with one or two more reserve matches, but it is going to be difficult to fit in reserve games with such a hectic schudule of both cup and league matches."
Mick Galloway is a tenacious mid-ield player, who has come on loan for a month from Carlisle. "Vastly experienced at lower league levels, played a lot of games at Notts County and one or two other clubs. I think he can have an influence on things with his presence and he's a good ball winner," commented Turner.
Ben Smith trained with the Bulls this week, but is returning to Lilleshall next week for more rehabilitation. He should be fully fit on his return.
