Fixture pile-up hampered by injuries

Hereford United have five matches in the next fifteen days, starting with tomorrow's Nationwide Conference encounter at Edgar Street against Dagenham & Redbridge, kick off 3pm.

The gruelling programme will not be helped by injury problems which have prompted boss to signed Michael Galloway on-loan from Carlisle United.

Missing tomorrow will be John Grant and Ben Smith, whilst Ian Wright (hamstring) and Danny Williams (groin) are doubts. Scott Voice is also not match fit.

Dagenham were widely held to have been robbed of a place in the Nationwide League after Conference champions Boston United's breach of regulations and that is a view shared by Turner. "They had a magnificent season last year and if there was any justice in football they would be playing in the Football League now." he said in tonight's Evening News.

"I think we are going to be in for a tough game and after the disappointment of the result and performance of last week we want to put that right. I've brought in Mick Galloway and am trying to bring in a striker, though that is proving difficult, because in the next four weeks we've got eight games including the FA Cup and LDV Trophy games.

"In the next 15 days we've got five matches and with doubts over Wright, Williams, Grant and Ben Smith we will be stretched to the limit."
