Hereford deserve win
Hereford United fought back in the second half against Dagenham & Redbridge to claim a 2-1 home victory, which takes them to fifth in the table.

Steve West put the Daggers in front four minutes before half time, but Hereford recovered with a Steve Guinan tap-in and a Danny Williams header to give them their second home win of the season.

Hereford United 2 - 1 Dagenham & Redbridge
Despite missing Ian Wright, John Grant and Ben Smith through injury, Hereford United picked up their second home win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge.
Garry Hill's side were on the backfoot from the opening with Steve Guinan and Danny Williams wasted early efforts as they fired off-target, and it took eighteen minutes for Matt Baker to really have any problems at the back. That occured when Paul Terry shot well over the ex-Hull City stopper's crossbar.
At the other end, Jamie Pitman's shot could quite dip under the crossbar and away stopper Tony Roberts, once of Queens Park Rangers and Wales, was forced to make a low save from Paul Parry after the Welshman attempted to capitalise on a mistake by veteran defender Steve Potts.
With four minutes of the half remaining, Dagenham's Mark Rooney hit a long ball from the half way line for Steve West to flick, Mark Stein to chest down and then West again to smash a scorching shot into the top of Baker's goal. In the dying minutes, United could have equalised but the away side managed to clear away a goalmouth scramble.
Whatever United had in their half-time tea, or it could have been Graham Turner's team-talk, certainly did the trick. Hereford turned around a deficit to a advantage within twelve minutes of the restart. First, after fifty four minutes, Steve Guinan's knee connected onto a low ball for Michael Rose to level the scores, and three minutes later, Paul Parry regained a blocked shot by Roberts to find Danny Williams. The midfielder with bleached har had the relatively simple job of nodding the ball home to put United ahead.
A mistake from Matt Baker as he dropped a cross almost let Dagenham back in on 76 minutes as Mark Stein fired a low shot goalwards, but defender Richard Teesdale, only in the side because of Ian Wright's absence, cleared as he was the only man left in front of goal.
Five minutes of added time proved extremely tense for the crowd of 1761, including the 63 away fans, but Hereford adapted well to missing their captain especially as Tony James stepped into his boots and did a magnificent job.
The Bulls move up one place to fifth in the table tonight, and more importantly into a play-off position.
