Griffiths to miss Poppies trip

Hereford United go to Kettering Town tomorrow night without reserve goalkeeper Ken Griffiths.

Griffiths will miss the match, to kick off at 7.45pm at Rockingham Road, because of glandular fever.

Ben Smith is also still missing for Hereford.

Kettering have several injury problems, but are likely to field ex-Bull Scott Goodwin in midfield. Poppies boss Carl Shutt told the Northants Evening Telegraph: "We seem to have players dropping like flies with every game. Gez (Murphy), Dale (Watkins) and Garry (Hughes) all sat out on Saturday. And now Lee (Howarth) and Craig (Norman) have joined them."

Kettering drew 2-2 against in-form Northwich Victoria on Saturday, but squandered victory as the Vics notched a late goal to secure a point.
