Away success surprises Turner
Hereford United boss Graham Turner can't really work out why the Bulls are playing better away from Edgar Street.
“I don’t know why we are doing so well away from home I cannot put my finger on it,” Turner told strictlyconference.com. “We look nice and relaxed and seem happy to soak up the pressure but there is no change of formation or tactics when we play away. But we have had four awkward home games against Chester, Yeovil, Morecambe and Farnborough. We came unstuck especially against Morecambe at home but just now we have a side brimming with confidence.”
Of the potential league success, he added: “There is a long, long way to go but it’s nice to be looking down at teams rather than looking up. “What it has done is create interest in the club again because we’ve messed around for too long near the bottom of the table and it is about time we gave our supporters something to shout about.”
