This game was played away from home at Bromyard due to the ongoing Edgar Street pitch issues.
Leamington have been one of the leagues pace setters and comfortably beat Hereford earlier in the season.
Both teams matched each other from the outset. Leamington looking to press on the wings, while Hereford sat back and looked to hit on the break.
With just 10 minutes gone Leamington found the back of the net after the striker took the opportunity to snatch a goal after gambling on a bouncing ball
The first half was a stalemate from then on, the only notable incident was Sheree Smith being carried from the field with an ankle injury.
HT Hereford 0-1 Leamington
In the second half Hereford looked sharper, pressed the ball well, but had just a couple of attempts to level.
The defenders looked composed, Katy Huntbach, Matilda Harris and Darcie Smith putting in some fine well timed challenges to deny Leamington a further goal.
Hannah Pritchard was more than equal to any effort Leamington created.
FT Hereford 0-1 Leamington
Not a bad result against a team sitting near the top of the table, Leamington dominated the midfield, stopping any balls through to the Hereford forwards.
