Hereford manager Aaron Downes has spoken about bringing young striker Mikey Lane to Edgar Street on loan from Fleetwood.
"He is obviously young and hasn't had a lot of mens football so I understand that," Downes told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"At the same time he's got good strength, good pace to get in behind, he's a good finisher when he gets in positions to get goals and he's someone who was really desparate to come and be part of it and stamp his name on English football to announce himself to hopefully go back and play in Fleetwood's first team.
"I like his character, I like the way he goes about his business on the pitch, he works his socks off, he's putting defenders under pressure all the time and he can sniff out a goal from nothing.
"He's a real good addition to the squad."
