Merthyr statement as Hereford game made all-ticket

Hereford's trip to Merthyr over the festive period will be segregated and all-ticket, the South Wales club have announced.

However, there is no update on when tickets will go on sale for Hereford fans, with the Enterprise National League North match set to take place on Tuesday 30th December with kick-off at 7.45pm.

In a statement this week, the club said digital tickets for home supporters are currently on sale via the club's website. They must be purchased online in advance as there will be no payments accepted on the evening of the game.

The club went on to say that arrangements are being made with Hereford for the sale of away tickets to their fans with neither club giving any details at this stage.

Merthyr said tickets will only be on sale until the safety capacity for the ground has been achieved, though they did not give a figure on Penydarren Park's capacity or allocations for either club.

"To prevent any long queues fans are encouraged to arrive as early as possible," the statement added.
