Sporting Khalsa "racist" incident update - two fans banned

Hereford FC have confirmed that two fans have been banned from Edgar Street with immediate effect following yesterday's FA Cup match at Sporting Khalsa in which the opposing keeper was allegedly racially abused.

Ravan Constable reported to referee Callum Fisk that he had been racially abused at the second qualifying round match at Willenhall, which Hereford at the time were leading 2-1.

The game was swiftly stopped, with Bulls manager Paul Caddis ordering his players off. The match was subsequently abandoned with around 20 minutes still to play.

Hereford chairman Chris Ammonds has confirmed that two fans who have been identified as potentially being involved in the incident will be banned from Edgar Street with immediate effect, and will last until the investigation is conducted.

He also confirmed that the police are now involved and has appealed to supporters to refrain from speculating as to who the individuals are.
