Glenn Taylor beat the offside trap on 36 minutes to open the scoring, before Rowe stabbed a loose ball in the box home a minute before the break.

Hereford should have capitalised when they were on top, but never recovered once Spennymoor Town took the lead.

A good turnout of Hereford supporters at the game given the distances but they will have been disappointed with the outcome.
