Former Chester City owner Stephen Vaughan has died. He will be remenbered as taking the club back into the Football League in 2004 but also for his financial mismanagement which led to the club going into administration with debts of £8M in 2009.

Full back Dion Kelly-Evans has joined Chester following his release from Woking. He is the club's fifth new signing of the summer.

Darlington have signed Aidan Rutledge who was previously with Gateshead and also midfielder Will McGowan on a season long loan from Gateshead.
