Squad Has Earned Play-Off Chance Said Hereford Chairman

 

Hereford FC play Scunthorpe this afternoon knowing that they probably have to win this game to have any chance of being in the play-offs.

However club chairman Chris Ammonds thinks that squad deserve the chance.

"Last year we were probably never quite good enough," Ammonds told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We were never one of the best seven teams in the league.

"But I think this group of players deserve to have a punt at the play-offs.

"On our day we are one of the best seven teams in the league.

"Fingers crossed everybody involved with the club and everybody who cares about the club gets what they deserve and we get the result we need."
