Kidderminster Harriers have failed to be crowned National League North champions after a 2-1 loss against Southport at Haig Avenue this afternoon.
Going into the afternoon top of the table on goal difference, 23 goals better off than Brackley Town, the title was in their hands had they beaten Southport.
But Phil Brown's men failed to do the business, leaving Brackley Town to leapfrog them into the top spot and secure promotion.
But they won't be lifting the trophy today as National League bosses decided against taking the trophy to any of the grounds where either Kidderminster, Brackley or Scunthorpe could be crowned champions.
Scunthorpe beat Hereford 1-0 at Edgar Street, while Brackley beat the league's bottom side Farsley Celtic 5-0.
