Hereford manager Paul Caddis spoke to the local media after yesterday's 2-2 draw with Chester. Whilst the point keeps Hereford in a play-off position, several other games were drawn around them, he admitted the performance wasn't great.
"It's a good point," said Caddis.
"Performance wise I'm not going to stand here and try and kid people on, there were 4,000 people in the stadium, I'm not going to talk rubbish to them.
"I didn't think we were great to be brutally honest but when you're not great especially this time of year, if you can't win make sure you don't loose.
"Four games to go and we're still here.
"The boys are desperate to do well for the supporters. They were taking after the game about the magnificent support, the numbers. Sometimes too desperate and it showed at times.
"I thought we were a bit nearvy at times and desperate to play forward very quickly but we got a point.
"You have to give them credit they are a good side, three weeks ago they were on top of the division. They've got a lot of depth, a lot of strength and a good manager.
"A good point in the end."
A lot of incidents in the game including several possible penalties.
"Tate Campbell I don't think was a penalty so if it's not a penalty book him. Jaiden White was a two handed push in the box. If you don't give a penalty, you can't give the foul against Matt Preston at the end for a two handed push at the edge of the box.
"I don't understand why they seem to referee differently in the box to out of the box.
"It's green grass, it's a football match.
"I thought he got quite a lot wrong for both teams. I think the corner we scored from for the first goal wasn't a corner.
"I think the foul from Babos for their first goal wasn't a foul.
"First two goals two mistakes from the referee but on our side we disappointed with the manner of the goal."
D'Ath was subbed in the first half having been shown a yellow card.
"I thought there was a bit of pressure from them, we would probably do the same, to try and get him send off. So one more and I was told he would be off the pitch so we had to act.
"I don't like taking people off in the first half but Lawson is an experienced player and totally understood."
