Speaking after defeat at Kidderminster, Hereford manager Paul Caddis looked forward to Saturday and Scunthorpe at Edgar Street.
"To even consider we're going into Saturday with still something to play for is a remarkable effort," he said.
"We came through the door twenty months ago, I walked through the door myself, there was no one else at the club except me and Mark Derricott.
"So to go to the last game of the season only in my second season as a manager I'm so proud, I'm proud of the players, I'm proud of the club.
"So let's stay positive, let's go and attack next Saturday. Let's try and make our season as long as we possibly can.
"Regardless of what happens it's been a remarkable effort from the players and we will stay positive, if people want to be negative that's fine, but we will stay positive and we'll go and attack on Saturday."
