There are two big sporting events in Hereford next Saturday.
At Edgar Street Hereford FC, who are 4th in the National North League, are playing Darlington.
Then around one mile away Herefordshire Raceday is taking place.
Given the weather is expected to be quite spring like, there should be plenty of interest in both events.
To be fair the football and racing don't often clash so it's difficult to gauge whether having the two events on the same day will have much or any effect on the attendances.
And if it does it might be quite hard to put a number on it.
But in an ideal world perhaps it would be better if they didn't clash.
After this weekend may be the two organisations should discuss future dates?
