In an interview posted on the Hereford OS, chairman Chris Ammonds has spoken about the new bulbs being installed on the 'old' pylons.
"They've taken down the old bulbs off the pylons and put up new LED bulbs which has been great progress to see.
"There's been an on-going test for about 24 hours just to make sure all is in order which seems to be the case.
"It's a big relief for everybody because this will now see us through until the end of the season without any issues.
"One of two people have asked why we can't stay with these LED's on the old pylons but the simple fact is we don't know how long the old pylons are going to remain in place.
"They do look really good."
