Rushall are now managerless after their 3-0 defeat against Hereford |
Rushall Olympic have parted company with their manager Adam Stevens after Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Edgar Street.
The club said it was a "really difficult decision" as they have the "utmost respect" for him but had to act with the club rock bottom of the National League North table.
With 12 points from 19 games, four points behind Needham Market in 23rd, first team coach Richard Sneekes will prepare the squad, assisted by Steve Hinks and Sam Mantom, for this week's games away at Hanley Town in the Staffordshire Senior Cup on Tuesday evening and Saturday’s Isuzu FA Trophy away tie at Gainsborough Trinity.
Former Alvechurch manager Ian Long could be Stevens' successor and was reportedly at Edgar Street on Saturday.

Ian Long has been linked with the vacancy |
He was most recently with Walsall Wood before resigning earlier this year and also had a spell at Stourbridge.
Rushall said in a club statement: "We would like to thank Adam most sincerely for his hard work and great memories created in our historic runs to the Emirates FA Cup First Round and the Isuzu FA Trophy Third Round this season and we wish him all the best for the future. Adam and his family will always be welcome here at Dales Lane."
It added: "We thank all of our supporters for their continued support and superb backing. They recognise that the challenge to maintain our Step 2 status is a huge one for a club of our stature, but we will continue to give it our all and work incessantly to bring further progress and future success to our community football club."
