Former Hereford United player Simon Johnson has joined another former Hereford player, manager Matt Clarke, at Redditch United.
41 year old Johnson has been appointed first team coach.
"I’m really excited to get Simon on board," said Clarke.
"He boasts an outstanding playing career playing in the Premier League with Leeds and brings fresh and exciting ideas.
"He’s excellent on the grass and specialises in getting the best out of talented young players."
Johnson joined Hereford United in August 2007 and made 62 appearances for the club before leaving in April 2009.
