Caddis Pleased Despite Defeat At Warrington

Despite losing at Warrington last night, Hereford manager Paul Caddis was pleased with how his players performed particularily after going down to ten men mid-way throught the first half.

"I'm really proud," said Caddis.

"I thought the performance was excellent.

"I haven't seen the red card, I'll have to look back.

"Second goal is a foul.

"Really proud of the effort, thought once we were down to ten men we dominated the game, I thought we had the better chances, I thought we were better in possession and on another day we get the goals.

"We knew it was going to be difficult but I thought we were excellent."

Going down to ten men seemed to spur Hereford on.

"It's a huge credit to them, huge credit to us as a group.

"We said to the boys at half time, you've got to bring your character out now, you're down to ten men, be patient, keep maintaining possession, keep getting balls wide, keep putting balls in the box, keep causing trouble and I think we did.

"I think at times Warrington were hanging in there.

"We're disappointed overall but pleased with the performance.

"I don't like losing but I can accept it when there are mitigating factors."
