Alfreton's Game Against Hereford Goes Ahead On Saturday

Alfreton's National North League fixture against Hereford will go ahead on Saturday despite them still not having played their FA Cup tie at Biggleswade.

That game will now take place next Tuesday. It has already been postponed twice.

Meanwhile Hereford are still without a game on Saturday October 12th. Originally they were to play Scarborough at Edgar Street that day but Scarborough have an FA Cup tie on the 12th.

Several other National North clubs are now without a game on the same Saturday so there is a chance a game could be brought forward.

On the other hand given the number of injuries, Hereford manager Paul Caddis might prefer not to have a game so to give players with injuries more time to recover.
