BBC Hereford and Worcester have reported that Hereford manager Paul Caddis has told them that striker Jason Cowley's ankle has flared up again which suggests his return to full fitness has been delayed.
Also midfielder Preston Bitemo has a suspected stress fracture on his back and needs a scan.
Caddis said that Bitemo's injury may be similar to that sustained by defender Mark Derricott last season.
"Everything is played on 4G and players are brought up on 4G then they have to play games on different surfaces.
"Preston Bitemo is definitely showing syptoms of what Mark Derricott had last year with a stress fracture of his back.
"So we'll have to get that scanned."
