Caddis Pleased With A Point At Spennymoor

Hereford manager Paul Caddis was pleased to take a point from yesterday's game at Spennymoor. The point came after a home defeat last Tuesday evening against Needham Town.

"Really pleased with the performance, really pleased with a point," said Caddis.

"I thought we controlled the game in terms of possession, our quality in possession, our passing.

"This is a tough place to come, they've only lost one in the last thirteen/fourteen games here but I thought we were well deserving of a point.

"And with a little bit of final quality in the final third then we could have had three.

"I thought we had good spells throughout the game, we passed a lot better, we played forward with quality, we got Chay on the half turn at times, we got Ceesay going one v one.

"So really pleased with out performance from our goal-line to about twenty yards from goal but the hardest thing in football is scoring, it's easier said than done.

"Really pleased with the clean sheet, I thought we defended well.

"I think both teams won a box each, they defended their box pretty well and we defended ours excellently.

"Overall we're pleased where we are in terms of the start.Last season after nine games we were on ten points, this season we're on game eight and we're on thirteen and we've scored a lot of goals.

"Yes there's stuff we can tidy up on but we're pleased with a point and pleased with the start."
