Jason Cowley suffered an injury to his ankle at Halesowen last Saturday.
Manager Paul Caddis spoke about how long he might be out for during his post match interview this afternoon.
"Cowls will be out six to eight weeks," said Caddis.
"That's the discussion we're having at the moment.
"Last year was probably me being eager as a manager and Cowls being ultra-eager as a player, we probably got him back too soon, not in a dangerous way but in terms of match fitness, match sharpness.
"Again you can train all you want but games are different.
"We'll manage him properly.
"If we can get him back four or five weeks into training then we;ll have a couple of weeks to get him really sharp.
"He looked really good in pre-season.
"But the good thing is that we've got good depth here now in the top end of the pitch with Willo, Rooney and Montel.
"We might to see if we can have a short-term one (striker) for the next six weeks, two months."
