Another former Bull signs for National League North rivals Kidderminster Harriers

Tope Obadeyi has signed for Kidderminster

Tope Obadeyi is the latest former Hereford player to sign for Vanarama National League North rivals Kidderminster Harriers.

The forward, who joined Hereford on loan last January as Banbury United shipped out experienced players ahead of their looming relegation, had been on trial with the Aggborough outfit.

Harriers said the 34-year-old is a "hugely experienced player who boasts Premier League, SPL and EFL football on his CV, in addition to time playing in France".

"With over 300 career appearances to his name, the versatile Obadeyi has immersed himself in non-league life over the past few seasons, spending time with Gloucester, Banbury and Hereford in National League North," they added.

"Adept out wide, in midfield and up front, he can count Bolton, Kilmarnock and Oldham among his former clubs, and has been with Harriers for the last couple of months having featured throughout pre-season as ‘Player D’, netting a goal in friendly over Newport."

He has now signed a deal with Harriers, who have won their opening three games after being relegated last season, and joins former Bulls Paul Downing and Maziar Kouhyar at the full-time club. In recent seasons, players like Tom Owen-Evans and Krystian Pearce have also had deals at Aggborough after leaving Edgar Street.

Obadeyi scored four goals in 13 appearances for the Bulls last season.
