We Didn't Get Enough Crosses In The Box Said Caddis

Despite a goal from Andy Williams after a cross into the box, manager Paul Caddis was disappointed with the number of similar crosses in the box.

"That's what Willo does best when he's in the box," said Caddis.

"We get a cross in the box and we score.

"That was one thing I was disappointed at, we didn't get enough crosses in the box.

"We've got two strikers on the pitch, both can head it. Cowls is good in the air, Willo scored a header, Babs can make the runs, you've got the opposite wing back, you've got one of the midfielders who can get high up.

"So we want to try and get more balls in the box, more box entries.

"My pet hate is when you get wide, you get a cross opportunity and you turn it down and you come back. There was one in the first half, we turned it down, we came back, we went back to the center half and then back to the goalie and then Chappy has kicked out of the pitch.

"Just put the goal in the box, make people defend.

"We'll get there.

"Mad as this sounds, going through pre-season and not losing a game isn't healthy sometimes.

"You learn from defeats in pre-season."
